Attending: Deanna Bridgwood, Mark Bridgwood, Alan Burns, Len Clemmer, Kathryn Kuppers, Harry Phillips, Brian Staton, Nick Triplett, Susan Triplett
1. Dues for the April 2007-April 2008 year were set at a minimum of $5.00 per year.
2. Alan Burns, treasurer, reported that CAGP funds total $234.00, after paying for Step-It-Up expenses.
3. Kathryn will man the table at the UNCC Earth Day event on Wednesday, April 18 from 10AM-3PM. Alan and Nick will table at the downtown Earth Day Event at the park near Ray’s Splash Planet on Saturday April 21.
4. The next Sugar Creek Cleanup will be on May 12 at 10AM.
4. The NCGP semiannual meeting will be in Pittsboro, NC on May 18 and May 19 at the Dan Pollitt Center. Saturday will be devoted to NCGP business. Officers and GPUS delegates will be elected; and there will probably be some major bylaws amendments proposed. It is important that as many CAGP members as possible attend so that the interests of our local will be taken into account.
5. The CAGP needs to order more t-shirts. Kathryn will get in touch with a Piedmont Green member who may be able to do the printing.
6. Nick was reelected as co-coordinator. Alan stepped down as the other co-coordinator; the position will remain empty until someone is willing to step in. Susan Triplett and Kathryn Kuppers were reelected as co-clerks. Alan was reelected treasurer.
7. Brian suggested that we might want to be part of the worldwide Live Earth concerts on July 7, 2007, perhaps by organizing a concert at the Neighborhood Theatre.
8. The next CAGP meeting is tentatively scheduled for July 28, 2007 at 3 PM. This will be the only regularly scheduled meeting before CAGP participation in the 2007 Charlotte Labor Day Parade.
