Treasurer’s Report: Ken reported a balance of $199.12. CAGP dues will be due at our April meeting

Cliffside: Ken gave us an update and some history on the Cliffside plant. There will be hearings held in Statesville on Thursday, January 22 at 6 PM. Ken plans to attend and speak.

The group decided to table the election of 1) a CAGP co-coordinator and 2) a representative to the NCGP-EC until the April meeting to allow time to locate interested members.

Stream Clean-Up: May 2, 2009 at 2 PM. We plan to meet in the Wendy’s parking lot off Charlottetown Blvd. Ken and Samiron will look into the possibility of more in-depth scientific testing of the water and stream bed.

Ballot Access: The GP court case will likely go to appeal in summer of 2009. The NCGP is investigating the introduction of another bill in the the NCGA, with a rough timeline of two years.

Ken will consider drafting a NCGP newsletter.

The next CAGP meeting is set for April 11, 2009 at 3PM at 1528 Thomas Ave, 28205.
